Big and rich on the nose. Syrupy sweet with almond and honey, big brioche and confectioners sugar, with a hint of pepper.
Moderate mouthfeel. Plum cherry, currant, stewed fruit and blackberry. Beautiful combination of malt and sherry here without either driving too boldly.
Long finish that's heavy on malt, plum, apple, pear, tobacco and a hint of currant.
Good distillate from Glenlivet and great bottling by Ultimate — this is a pleasant single cask with the quintessentials on lock.
