House Review
Nose:
Deep and thick sherry notes - plum, fig and some grape. There's spice, dust and leather here too and its oh so well blended.
Taste:
Thick sherry, lots of leather and spice, with sherry fruits. More complex than when I first opened the bottle. It's sweet but not overpowering and very "deep".
Finish:
Long, complex and sweet. The fig here really explodes with grape notes and the sherry playing a strong role.
Overall:
This is a phenomenal bottling. It also shows how much a little bump in ABV can help a dram. This is great stuff, and a great selection on behalf of KL.
