  • There's more sherry followed by some spice and a bit of rubber/char which seems odd but it fits with the profile well.

  • Nose:

Lots of sherry fruit with a wisp of spice.

  • Taste:

Sherry and spice. There's a bit tiny bit of an artificial note followed by sweet fruit and leather. It's a bit hot on the tongue, but for 120 proof, its not punishing.

  • Finish:

Long and a little hotter than I'd like but by no means unreasonable. There's more sherry followed by some spice and a bit of rubber/char which seems odd but it fits with the profile well.

  • Overall:

Very good dram for the price here in the US. Not as cheap as our overseas brethren but with the age statement and proof, I have zero regrets. Glenfarclas has gone 2/2 in my book and I'm looking forward to reviewing the Faultline, 17 and 24 in my upcoming reviews. Yum.
