Glendalough Single Cask Irish Whiskey Madeira Cask is produced by Glendalough Distillery in County Wicklow, Ireland. The whiskey is matured for 3 years in a first-fill bourbon barrel and then transferred into an Oloroso sherry cask for an undefined period before being finished in a Canteiro-aged Madeira wine cask.   • There is absolutely nothing wrong with this whiskey – but it is probably best reserved for someone who has slowly started dipping their toes into finishes whiskies rather than a die-hard connoisseur.
