  • This tastes like Glenfiddich dialed up to 11 - something I personally am enjoying. It’s bold, powerful, cask driven and downright easy to drink. A dangerous, and awesome, crossover.

  • Nose:

Big and sweet on the nose with tons of char, honey, toffee, a light bit of rising bread. The nose is enticing and fun. It’s rare to see GlenAllachie abandon a wine cask, and I’m intrigued from nose alone.

  • Taste:

Apples, pears, honey and a big pepper note. Sweet cream and caramelized sugar. There's some faint bitter oak, but it has a pleasant viscosity, and the ethanol is very much in check.

  • Finish:

Long finish. Punchy and a touch hot. The apple and pear from the palate develop nicely with more toffee, char, pepper, honey and oak.

  • Overall:

This tastes like Glenfiddich dialed up to 11 — something I personally am enjoying. It’s bold, powerful, cask driven and downright easy to drink. A dangerous and awesome crossover.
