Glen Moray Sherry Cask Finish is a 40%-ABV single malt Scotch whisky first matured in American oak casks, then finished in Oloroso sherry casks from Jerez, Spain.
The taste has a thick, oily mouthfeel with a good balance of fruitiness and spices, as apricots, peaches and apples complement ginger and white pepper spices with touches of figs and toffee in the background.
Medium-bodied, with caramel, dark chocolate-cherry liqueur, and warming spices. The finish yields black currant, cough medicine, then allspice, and slowly drying oak.
