Glen Elgin 12 Year Old is the only official single malt Scotch whisky from Glen Elgin Distillery, a Speyside distillery founded in 1898 and owned by Diageo. Best known as a key component of White Horse blended Scotch, the distillery uses six stills, traditional worm tub condensers and a long fermentation period to create its signature waxy, fruity character. The whisky is matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and European oak casks before being bottled at 43% ABV. It typically retails for around $67.
