Glen Elgin 18 Year Old was released in 2017 as part of Diageo's annual fall special release collection, distilled in 1998 and aged for 18 years in ex-bodega European oak butts. It is bottled at 54.8% ABV.
The palate is very full and sweet, even sugary, with baked apples, peaches in cream, and cinnamon. Medium to long in the finish, with fruity oak, lingering ginger, and pepper.
