Gin'ca Peruvian Gin, bottled at 40% ABV, is made in Peru with a rum-like sugar cane distillate as its base spirit. Juniper is sourced from Macedonia, while other botanicals are locally sourced from Peru, including Peruvian black mint, lime, Minneola, Peruvian pepper, rosemary, black pepper, rue, cinnamon and lemon verbena. Each batch produces only 160 bottles.
I quite like it, and strongly recommend it as a gateway gin for introducing new people to the category; unfortunately it’s relative inaccessibility might limit its potential, at least for European/North American audiences.
