Distilled by an undisclosed producer, this batch features 6yr, 9yr and 12yr Kentucky bourbon's blended and then finished in a variety of casks. This is chapter 2, and features finishing in Apera Sherry and Dark Rum casks.

Sweet, berry forward. Nutty, sherry driven. Fresh baked bread, toffee, honey, heather, raisin bread, cigar box. Opulent.
Rich on the palate. Syrupy texture, opulent once more. A bit of ethanol here, though the proof is slightly higher than Chapter 1. Black currant, date fruit, cocoa and rich nougat. Powerful.
Long finish, the heat presents itself here once more, more fiery than the first. The flavor is dialed up, very sherry forward but enjoyable all the same.
A bit less of a well painted portrait here on this release, the introduction of the Apera sherry tips the scales in sweetness' favor here. A very good release no less, and a strong invitation to try the others.
