Fort Hamilton New World Dry Gin is produced in Brooklyn, New York, using a neutral spirit distilled from 100% New York-grown corn. The gin incorporates 11 botanicals, including Tuscan juniper, coriander, cinnamon, star anise, angelica root and Florentine iris, which are macerated and distilled together. Separately, cannonball watermelon, cucumber, lemon zest, lime zest and orange zest are individually distilled. The distillates are blended and rested for two weeks before bottling.
The cucumber and melon aroma is fresh and inviting and delivers on the palate with mild melon flavor and a long, cucumber-y exhale accented with cayenne and white pepper glow.
