Produced in Oaxaca, Mexico, Firme Mezcal Ensamble is made from 100% maguey espadín harvested at 9 years and maguey tobalá harvested at 12 to 15 years. The agave is roasted in stone conical ovens, crushed with a horse-drawn stone mill, fermented in wooden tubs, and twice distilled in copper alembic stills. It is bottled at 46% ABV in a 750 mL format priced at around $74.99.
