  • For the price, it’s not bad for wanting higher proof cocktails or to have at a party, though I prefer my peat by itself rather than trying to work with it as an ingredient.

  • The palate has a sweet arrival too (cherry syrup), followed by intense peat smoke and even a bit of iodine. Great cask strength peat bomb on a budget.

House Review
  • Nose:

    Sweet creamy lemon zest. Pepper. Mild trace of brine. Overall, very sweet and peppery. Like a peaty lemon dessert. Mmmm

  • Taste:

    Sweet and peppery. Good bit of peat influence melding nice with lots of vanilla cream. Really quite fruity. Some nice brine in there also.

  • Finish:

    Long, and surprisingly complex. Theres a little heat, but its mostly sweet, salty and peppery.

  • Overall:

    For a budget CS whiskey this is really something great. I got a sample of this from a friend and had no idea what I was in for. Needless to say, I was very surprised. It's delicious and complex.
