  • There's some bitter orange peel, as well as charred oak and vanilla. Not bad, but not very moreish either.

  • The sweet fruit notes are quite intense. Hazelnut and fudge in the medium-length finish.

  • This is a tasty whiskey for sure, but I’m not certain that it would be a go-to for me personally.

  • Nose:

Light, bright nose: grapefruit, lemon peel, raisins, buttercream, powdered ginger

  • Taste:

Lovely, light palate with a mouthfeel that's lightweight but has just enough cling to it. Shortbread, lemon peel, mango sorbet and a touch of leather.

  • Finish:

Big mango and tangerine notes open the finish, followed by lemongrass and brown sugar.

  • Overall:

A delicious, bright whisky with exceptional flavor. This is a fantastic summer-weather bottle thanks to its lightness and bright profile.

  • Score:

    90
