Definitely a kissing cousin of the blanco, this expression is smoothed out, and has the agave knocked down a few pegs, letting vanilla and some caramel notes come to the surface. Nice, easy finish. An incredible bargain — it’s actually the same price as the blanco. A winner.
Creamy aromas and flavors of fresh churned butter, lemon, cream, and chives or maybe garlic, vinyl, creamed corn. A tropical and savory agave that will be good for cocktails.
On the nose there’s caramel and light agave, tropical fruit and subtle oak. The palate offers plantains and more tropical fruit, vanilla and cooked agave. The medium, spicy finish fades into agave, caramelized sugar and oak.
