El Buho Mezcal is crafted in Oaxaca by the 6th generation Jimenez Mendez family using copper pot stills. The family, led by Octavio Jimenez Monterroza, creates each batch collectively with his children Jose Isaac, Beatriz and Octavio. This unaged expression is made with jabali agave that matured for 10-12 years before harvest.
