El Ateo Tequila Añejo is produced at Plantaciones Tequilana from blue weber agave sourced in Guanajuato. The agave is cooked in brick ovens, crushed with a tahona and fermented in stainless steel tanks using open-air fermentation without fibers. It is double distilled in stainless pot stills with copper coils, then aged in used American white oak bourbon barrels and bottled at 40% ABV.
