Aromas and flavors of cedar and green garden herbs, ginger and orange zest, and clover honey with a velvety, crisp, dry medium body and a tingling, intriguing, medium-length finish that exhibits accents of milk chocolate covered mint, salted caramel and orange zest, and honey and five spice.
This leans on the sweeter side with an interesting spicy kick that warrants an ice cube or three to make it a lingering sipper and is probably ideal in a cocktail. While a bit peculiar, it also makes for a fun, if occasional pour.
The nose on this whiskey is one of the most delicious and bizarre Ive ever encountered. Fruity, light, bright, it didnt really bring a base of cereal grains to mind, it was almost more like a wine.
