  • This is quite nice. If you’re in the mood for jammy sherry, this is a one stop shop. The base malt is completely covered up here, but the wine doing the covering is drinking just fine.

  • Nose:

Extremely jammy on the nose, loaded with fruit, sulfur, some oak and loads of caramel. Fruit notes embody cherry, blueberry, blackberry, some currant.

  • Taste:

Sweet on the palate, rich, syrupy and jammy. Quite a bit of caramel, honey, pungent tobacco, bright cherry cordial and black currant.

  • Finish:

Short finish, a bit hot, but once again leaning hard into the fruit aspects, no doubt from heavy wine influence. Blackberry, tobacco, pepper.

  • Overall:

This is quite nice. If you’re in the mood for jammy sherry, this is a one stop shop. The base malt is completely covered up here, but the wine doing the covering is drinking just fine.
