Sweet and lightly funky on the nose, reminiscent of a lightly agricole-y release I had from Hawaii not long ago. Apples, pears, mangoes, a touch of lactic funk and a hint of grapefruit shrub.
Sweet on the palate but not unnaturally so. Low viscosity on the palate, not super rich but it’s clean and crisp. Lime zest, pepper, a hint of cream and more mango. Really clean on the palate.
Short to moderate finish but clean once more. Lots of lime, grapefruit, honey, pepper and a hint of cream.
Overall, the nose here is misleading as it presents like some crafty rums I’ve had in the past and didn’t like, but the palate and finish are super clean, it’s well made and totally pleasant. Would daq! Good stuff all around.
