Ploughman’s Rye Whisky is a limited release from Eau Claire Distillery in Alberta, Canada. It is made from rye grown using horse-farming methods at Bar U Ranch National Historic Site near Longview. The whisky is first aged in new American oak barrels and then finished in casks previously used for Eau Claire’s single malt. It is available at the distillery and select liquor stores in Alberta.
