Produced in Spokane, Washington, Dry Fly Straight Triticale Whiskey is made from triticale, a hybrid grain of wheat and rye developed in Scotland in the late 1800s. It is aged for 3 years in new 53-gallon American oak barrels.
There is a significant amount of flavors that come through as the whiskey breathes and opens up. If you come across this whiskey, I definitely recommend giving it a try.
While Straight Triticale Whiskey doesn't have any unique and revolutionary flavors, its uniqueness lies its ability to represent both wheat and rye in one dram. That makes this a whiskey worth picking up.
