Tequila Don Ramón Platinium Plata is produced at Industrializadora Integral del Agave in Jalisco, Mexico, using 100% blue weber agave. The agave is cooked in an autoclave under high pressure, extracted with a diffuser and screw mill and fermented without fibers in stainless steel tanks. It is then double-distilled in stainless steel pot stills and bottled unaged at 40% ABV.
Additional time brings out vanilla. The sweet, cooked agave entry builds to a citrus, vanilla, and buttery agave peak. It fades with citrus, salted caramel, and mineral and finishes bittersweet, and peppery with agave, sea salt, and lemon peel.
