  • Bright agave notes, a gummy bear sweetness. Not artificial, but the profile is effervescent, really pops, combining candy sweetness, papaya, biscuits, pepper and a touch of varnish. Sweet lemon zest. A rep with some oaky attitude and it works. Big fan of the complexity here.

  • Slivery straw color. Meaty, savory, grassy, green, herbal aromas of smoky, savory, chipotle and chorizo sausage. This savory and intriguing Reposado Tequila will be lovely to use for complex cocktails.

  • Nose:

Bright agave notes, a gummy bear sweetness. Not artificial, but the profile is effervescent, really pops, combining candy sweetness, papaya, biscuits, pepper and a touch of varnish. Sweet lemon zest.

  • Taste:

Sweet on the palate, naturally so, with a great mouthfeel. Pepper, the faintest wisp of ash smoke. Vanilla bean, cream, some pepper, a guava note. Oak is there, more than I’d expect, but it works.

  • Finish:

Medium finish. Pepper, brown sugar, roasted agave. A bit of dough, clove, vanilla bean. Notes of caramel, brown butter.

  • Overall:

A rep with some oaky attitude and it works. Big fan of the complexity here.
