Doc Swinson's Exploratory Cask Series L'Esprit is a straight bourbon whiskey distilled in Indiana and finished in Cognac casks. It is made from a blend of two MGP mash bills: 75% corn, 21% rye, 4% malted barley; and 60% corn, 36% rye, 4% malted barley. Aged five years before finishing, it is bottled in Washington at varying proofs by batch.
