Dewar’s White Label Blended Scotch Whisky, first created in 1899 by A.J. Cameron, is crafted at Dewar’s Aberfeldy Distillery. Double-aged, it retails for about $21.
Overall it is a tad one dimensional and I had a hard time picking out more flavors than just the traditional scotch flavor profile but they do exist in hints and wisps. If you’ve never had it or you’re just starting out give it a go, you won’t be sorry you did.
Quite tart at times, some peppery spice collaborates before the vanilla cream and green fruits take charge. A clean, juicy finish of lemon zest and mild spices coats the throat.
