Del Maguey Wild Tepextate is produced in Santa Maria Albarradas, Oaxaca, Mexico, by Rogelio Martinez Cruz and Leopoldino Miranda. It's made from 18- to 25-year-old tepextate agave roasted for 15 days with oak wood, milled with a horse-driven molino, fermented for five to seven days with spring water and distilled in a 350-liter copper still.

  • One of the better Mezcal I’ve had, coming from Del Maguey or not. I’d say this is worth the $100 I paid for in Hi-Time Wine, just because it’s my first Wild Tepextate mezcal.
