Raided Score: 87Distiller By Felipe Schrieberg On the palate, more rich depths are explored with raspberries and caramel, while there's an element of cooked zucchini and cut grass in there too. Read Full Review Raided Score: 88Whisky Advocate By Gavin Smith The palate is sweet, smooth, and buttery, with brandy, honey, and polished oak. The finish dries with licorice and chili warmth, then, finally, tangy dark berries. Read Full Review Raided Score: 85The Daily Pour By t8ke This was really nice, but the growth in ethanol was a bit unwelcome. That said, excellent desserty flavors. Delightful. House Review
Nose:
Rich and syrupy. Indulgant. Honey, syrupy figs. Grape, cocoa, toffee, nutty syrupy sweetness.
Taste:
Medium mouth feel. Mild heat, if any. Rich honey, toffee, leather. Some stewed fruits - lemon, raspberry, figs, dates. Musty sherry sweetness. Rich and powerful despite a slight rise in ethanol presence.
Finish:
Long but a little bit hot. Sweet, light funky. Honey, sweet amaretto. Honey, pear, raspberry, cherry and fig. Light sulfur.
Overall:
This was really nice, but the growth in ethanol was a bit unwelcome. That said, excellent desserty flavors. Delightful.
