  • The taste goes even deeper with the fruit and spice and brings a sense of mulled wine. There is a bright acidity throughout the dram which helps to not make the whisky fall flat.

  • The taste is smooth and fruity with a cinnamon kick and touch of figs. The finish is full of oranges, tangerines, and toffee.

  • This is good, but not overwhelmingly so. It's distinctive in that it tastes like a loaf of raisin bread, but it doesn't wow me.

  • Nose:

Sweet caramel, sherry and raisins. Like sweet raisin bread. Some cinnamon.

  • Taste:

Medium mouthfeel, not a lot of heat. Some oaky bitterness, clove, sweet vanilla. Very bourbon like combined with the sherry notes. Like a big loaf of raisin bread.

  • Finish:

Short but pleasantly sweet, sherry is most prominent here.

  • Overall:

This is good, but not overwhelmingly so. It's distinctive in that it tastes like a loaf of raisin bread, but it doesn't wow me.
