Dad’s Hat Pennsylvania Straight Rye Whiskey is the first straight rye produced in Pennsylvania in over 25 years, per the brand. Distilled farm-to-bottle using locally harvested grains, it ages for a minimum of four years.
The palate is distinctly drying and slightly nutty and citrusy. Adding water coaxes out hints of pecan pie and praline, finishing with a flourish of baking spice.
