Cumbrita de la Sierra is an agave spirit made from 100% Lechuguilla (Agave shrevei) by maestro destilador Dolores González in Batopilas, Chihuahua. The agave is harvested from mountain peaks above Copper Canyon, cooked in earthen ovens with Encino oak, and distilled twice in a hybrid still called a tren. It's bottled at varying strengths between 46-50% ABV and sells for around $90-100.
