Crystal Head Aurora is crafted with English wheat, distilled five times and filtered seven times, including three passes through Herkimer diamonds. The brand was created by actor and comedian Dan Aykroyd and artist John Alexander. It is produced by Globefill Incorporated at the Rock Spirits distillery in Newfoundland, Canada.
All told, it’s a perfectly credible vodka — albeit a very expensive one — but what’s inside doesn’t nearly measure up to the wildly impressive bottle itself.
