  • Nose:

Lots of vermouth character. Anise, cherry. I'm enjoying this on the rocks in a rocks glass, so not too much of a nose on it. On to the palate.

  • Taste:

Delightful negroni. Sweet, lovely vermouth meets herbaceous gin character. Notes include anise, pepper, cherry candies and orange peel. It's a sweet cocktail, but a balanced one.

  • Finish:

The finish is medium in length and sweet with more anise and a touch of cocoa.

  • Overall:

This is a super tasty cocktail that stands head and shoulders above probably 90% of the ready-to-drink cocktails I've tasted. Well-crafted negroni for anyone who enjoys a sweet cocktail.
