Compass Box Nectarosity Blended Scotch Whisky rests at 46% ABV and uses no chill filtering. It matures in first-fill bourbon barrels and custom virgin American oak casks.
Ginger and white pepper, getting quite bitter and adding a funny fizzy element. Not very complex and easily recognizable as a blend, which is not a common thing to say about a Compass Box creation.
This is a chewy, quite sweet blend that feels like a perfect entree to the evening, whetting the palate with notes of orange Creamsicle, Bananas Foster, caramel sauce, and a touch of lemon on the back end. Bright as sunshine as it fades out.
