Compass Box Artist Blend is a blended Scotch whisky bottled non-chill-filtered at 43% ABV. The blend combines 45% single grain from Cameronbridge Distillery aged in first-fill bourbon barrels; 22% Linkwood single malt in first-fill bourbon barrels; 10% Balmenach single malt in first-fill bourbon barrels; 10% Clynelish single malt in first-fill bourbon barrels; 5% Linkwood single malt in revatted Palo Cortado sherry casks; and 8% Highland Malt Blend from Glen Moray, Tomatin and Balmenach distilleries aged in French oak barrels. The blend was created by lead whiskymaker John Glaser in 2011.

  • The palate follows suit with some oak spices and a touch of citrus for added measure. The whisky has a creaminess to it, but finishes on the spicy side, and is far from sticky sweet.
