Produced in Jalisco, Mexico, Código 1530 Cristalino Reposado is made from lowlands agave. It starts with reposado tequila aged in French oak cabernet wine barrels, then undergoes charcoal filtration to remove color and tannins, resulting in a clear appearance. A touch of extra añejo, finished in French cognac casks, is blended in as well.
