Clonakilty Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey is produced in County Cork, Ireland, using barley grown on the Scully family farm. The whiskey blends 60% four-year-old spirit aged in ex-bourbon casks with 40% five-year-old spirit aged in ex-bourbon casks and finished in Amontillado or Oloroso sherry casks. It is bottled at 92 proof and retails for $50.

- The finish is surprisingly long as the black pepper, orange peel, and saline notes slowly dissipate. The whiskey has the enjoyable, creamy mouthfeel and spiciness that I look for in Pot Still Irish whiskeys.
