Cleveland Whiskey The Eighty-Seven is produced in Ohio. Made from a mashbill featuring 75% corn, 21% rye and 4% malted barley, it undergoes a 24-hour pressure-aged finish after initial aging. Bottled at 43.5% ABV, it retails at aroud $28.99 per 750ml bottle.
Overall I’d give this bourbon an 79. It’s drinkable, moderately priced at just under $40 dollars and fun to talk about, but can be just as easily passed over. If you’re looking to see what modern technology can do with our favourite spirit, I’d recommend this bottle.
