  • Nose:

Creamy on the nose with tons of frosting, red berries, cocoa, blackberry, cherry cordial, a hint of pepper and slate.

  • Taste:

A bit hot on the palate, but the ethanol fades with a moment of rest. Rich red berries, cranberry, cherry and blackberry, light citrus zest and creamy frosting carries again.

  • Finish:

Pleasant finish but a touch on the short side. Heavy cabernet notes continue here, bringing in a touch more tannin, as well.

  • Overall:

This is wine first and Chattanooga high malt second. If you love Cabernet, this is going to be right up your alley.
