Chattanooga Whiskey Experimental Series Batch Alpha: Intergalactic Comet Crusher is a limited-edition bourbon liqueur made at the Chattanooga Whiskey Experimental Distillery in Chattanooga, Tennessee. It is infused with at least 42 botanicals and produced from a classified mashbill in a batch of only 12 barrels. The spirit is bottled at 84 proof (42% ABV) and retails for $49.99 per 750ml bottle.
This is where things get a little alien. We start with ginger cake and red hots, overbaked ginger snap cookies. There is an undernote of Christmas cake. the botanicals make a resurgence of angelica root, nutmeg, Chinese cinnamon, lime peel, and a wash of molasses sugar.
