  • The palate is light and fruity, with baked apple, blueberries, cherry syrup, and a hint of ash. Over time, peppermint and a dusty farm-like quality emerge. The finish shows more syrup and peppery spice. It's unusual, but well-made.

  • As flavored whiskeys go, Hot Honey Rye is a step above most owing to the quality of both the flavoring ingredients and the base spirit. Sip it. Shoot it. Personally, I would try it in a cocktail.
