Blistered, roasted agave leads the way, followed by notes of green bell pepper, dates, sea salt and damp firewood.
Sultry and easygoing on the palate, with layers of mesquite smoke, dark chocolate, light leather, raw almond and cracked black pepper.
A long, mellow finish unfolds with charred agave, slate, dry oak, clove and lingering walnut shell.
Like the reposado, this aged CasAzar offering fuses sweet and bitter with ease. It leans slightly more tannic, with nuanced notes of spicy clove, chocolate and date that are a joy to uncover. No mixing needed. Enjoy it neat or over a large rock. It pairs especially well with dried fruits or salted, grilled pineapple.
