Casa Mexico Tequila Añejo is a 100% blue agave tequila produced in the Jalisco Highlands (Los Altos) of Mexico under NOM 1589. The piñas are slow-cooked in brick ovens, crushed via tahona mill, naturally fermented and double distilled in copper alambique stills, then aged a minimum of 12 months in American white oak barrels. It is bottled at 40% ABV and retails for around $45.
