Casa Dragones slips across the tongue with beautiful citrus notes, building warmth as it segues into vanilla and cocoa notes, driven clearly by the extra anejo tequila that makes up the blend. The tequila is simply superb.
The overall impression is characterized by a cool freshness that suggests rainwater, and the soft, effortless texture certainly sustains that impression. Could this be almost too easy to drink?
Initial taste was vegetal, with prominent sweet agave. As the taste progressed, it became a sweet pear and it kept getting sweeter, until the finish which was almost sugary.
