Carabuena Tequila Blanco is a small-batch, additive-free tequila produced at NOM 1641 in the Tequila Valley lowlands of Jalisco, Mexico. It is made from 100% blue weber agave using stone-oven roasting, open-air fermentation and copper pot distillation, then filtered and bottled directly after distillation with no maturation. It is bottled at 40% ABV and retails for around $48.
Grassy and earthy notes intertwine with roots, fruity cooked agave nuances and pepper. Complex, slightly savory and balanced, with light chili hints on the lingering finish.
