Bottled at 46% ABV, Caballito Cerrero Azul Blanco 46 is distilled at the Santa Rita Fábrica in Amatitán, Jalisco, from 100% estate-grown blue agave by 14th- and 15th-generation tequileros. Founded in 1950 by Don Alfonso Jiménez Rosales after leaving Tequila Herradura, Caballito Cerrero translates to "one that doesn't need horseshoes." Though not certified as tequila or mezcal, its production follows traditional methods dating back to the late 19th century.
