Buzzard’s Roost Char #1 Straight Rye is made from 95% Rye and 5% Malted Barley whiskey. It is aged for at least 3 years in proprietary barrels crafted with the brand's cooperage partner. The whiskey is sourced from MGP in Indiana, with bottling, aging and finishing at Bardstown Bourbon Company in Kentucky.
This whisky has a subtle texture that makes it very approachable, with a smooth medium-length finish that has a light but rich quality. The dry and smoky undertones work well with the sweet and spicy quality.
