Buzzard's Roost Barrel Strength Rye Whiskey is made from 95% rye and 5% malted barley. It is aged for at least four years in proprietary barrels crafted with the brand's cooperage partner to create unique flavors. This barrel-proof version of Small Batch Rye uses multiple barrel types. The whiskey is sourced from MGP in Indiana, with bottling, aging and finishing at Bardstown Bourbon Company in Kentucky.

  • Toasty and oaky and balanced with enough fruit on the back end, I gravitated to it more and more as the evening went on, though this is hardly a complex offering.
