  • This is a pleasant expression. There's a bit of ethanol and a bit more sulfur than I like, but it still manages to pull really great notes throughout.

  • Nose:

Heavy sherry on the nose with plum, apricot, currant and blackberry, laced with tobacco, caramel and honey.

  • Taste:

Moderate mouthfeel with a prickle of ethanol. There’s a bit of pepper, tobacco, caramels and honey. Blackberry, toffee, some oak and a moderate sulfur note.

  • Finish:

Long finish with a bit of ethanol once more, plus blackberry, toffee and honey.

  • Overall:

This is a pleasant expression. There's a bit of ethanol and a bit more sulfur than I like, but it still manages to pull really great notes throughout.
