  • Long, powerful and complex. So much going on, with powerful components that I love. The creamy sweetness, paired with dessert nut notes and stewed fruits is a combination of fruit, sherry, savory and nutty that I haven’t seen in some time. It’s phenomenal, and I’d buy many more of these.

  • Nose:

Rich, nutty, loaded with stewed fruits. Praline, amaretto, jammy blackberry and nutty caramel.

  • Taste:

Thick, rich mouth feel. A bit warm, but heat in check. Sweet caramel, toffee, rich blackberry and fig. Pepper, faint sulfur. Currant, raspberry, rich graham cracker and praline. Decadent. Amazing.

  • Finish:

Long, and sweet. Loaded with complexity. Musty pipe tobacco. Figs, dates, raisins. Black currant, blackberry. Nougat, creme brûlée. Raspberry and rich cocoa.
